Jala in swahilii means Special One

And special she is.

Jala is the only surviving cub of Sekou and Njozi's first litter. Njozi has an unexpected fall off a cliff while avoiding a poisonous snake that was striking at her.

Jala was born blind in her left eye, has some energy defaults and a limp, which mean she cannot run as long or walk as long as the normal lion cub. It effects her daily life.
